This rifle is  on a Sako M591 action which has been converted to single shot. The barrel is a Shilen number 5 profile, 1/14" twist, 25" long. The stock is a locally made laminate in a Sako varmint profile, pillar bedded to the action. There is no magazine cutout in the stock, so it gives a little more support to the action. Scope is a Leupold Vari III 6.5 - 20 x 40 with target adjustment in Leupold mounts. The rifle will be used for intermediate range varminting, though only a few shots have been fired through it so far. Load development to date indicates best results with 50gn bullets and H322 powder.
